Although the game was playable yesterday afternoon, the loss of cloud cover overnight has lead to the pitch re-freezing.
Although the weather forcast is said to be improving during the afternoon, a decision had to be made before visting team and supporters were due to leave, and as such a local referee had to call the game off.
Will it be rescheduled for Tuesday?

It might be, but not automatically. e.g. Ashton United’s game postponed on New Years day has be re-arranged for Tuesday 10th March 2009, and our game against Whitby Town in September has also been re-arranged for March 2009.
It’s only the cup games that seem to be re-arranged quickly.
Gutted as I’m struggling to make the Marine match next saturday, no Witton for a while!
