Witton Albion v. Mossley

A draw was a fair result however feel like we were robbed as the goal was scored 6 minutes into injury time after the ref gave 4 minutes, he was determined to play till they scored it seemed. There were no added time due in the 4 minutes!!! Overall we were battling but poor, definitely a step down with Ben and Owen German not in the 11 we wasted possession and overplayed a lot.

Only Jim Lawrie (my mom) on his game today, the midfield struggled for any fluency. Let’s start another winning run now. UTA

I’ve always believed that the injury time should be determined by an independent timekeeper as in the Rugby Super League and taken out of the referee’s hands.

A referee can add on as much time as he likes and in a lot of cases they do, some games playing up to fourteen minutes over in recent weeks.

I’m not saying that’s what happened today but it was convenient that he blew the final whistle as soon as Mossley equalised.

It’s another point though and the unbeaten run continues.

Was Max putting his stamp on the game while he was at the post office? :joy:

Post corrected, hadn’t noticed that when I did it.
