Witton Albion vs Ashton United (PSF ).

Witton begin their “Home” Pre Season campaign on Saturday, when they welcome Evo-Stik Premier Division Ashton United to The NetDec Stadium. The Robins have strengthened their squad during the close season and will provide Witton with a difficult test as they look to continue their unbeaten run. Ashton have made the Premier Division Play Offs in each of the last two seasons and will certainly be hoping to achieve that again this time round. The fixture will also see the return of former Albion defenders Cavell Coo & Liam Brownhill, who has now joined Ashton on a permanent basis following his loan spell at Hurst Cross last season. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

Looking forward to watching the Albion for my first pre season games tomorrow :soccer::soccer::soccer:

Yes looking forward to our first home game of this season, be nice to see signs of the newly signed players settling in and putting on a good performance, I wonder if there are any new signings this past week to add ? UTA

I’ve not been informed of any further additions as we speak but there is still time. Tomorrow should be an interesting test for us and possibly the type of challenge that could be of more benefit to us. No disrespect to our previous opponents intended but Ashton are likely to be more of the level that we are likely to face each week albeit they’re a Premier Division side.

More signings were announced on twitter can this not be confirmed?

The signings announced on Twitter have already been confirmed by the club. Information is posted in the “News & Views” section of the forum under the topic "Playing Squad. "
