Not sure what happened to the updates but the Albs won through 4-0 in pretty horrendous conditions for football with howling winds and driving heavy rain, Rob Hopley getting 2 one a belting glancing header and King another long range cross/shot that went in at the far post, Droylsden were always second best, we could have scored several more too. 3 wins on the spin now so we have overcome our dip in form and look forward to Warrington on Monday. Looked good today, only my 4th game of the season and still unbeaten so I am bit bemused as to other results but looking good for next season! (Yep part time but getting better).
Best result was the confirmation that the Warrington game is at 1500 not 1945! Sooo… me and my boy going to that too! As I’m feeling generous, a free “Wally” hat to the person who starts the best chant on Monday!
