Eileen Cooper, Nicolas Garlick, Hilary Mantel, Dan Money - Your Boys took one hell of a beating today!
Awesome win! :clap All smiles from a sunny Mexico!!! :clap
Upto 11th now six points off the play offs.
Still at work here that has cheered me up no end what a fantastic result COME ON THE ALBIOOON!
Outstanding performance a real togetherness with this side, a joy to watch.
Another enjoyable afternoon watching Witton, these are getting too common which after 2 years of suffering is a lovely change!
Great team performance from everyone, Jay Matthews and Rob Hopley up front are a handful for any defence and with Danny Andrews back to his brilliant best we should fear no side in this league.
Andy Firth has been awesome in goals and sad to see him finish his loan deal but brilliant to see him coming off the pitch and kissing the Witton badge at the tunnel.
Hopefully the brilliant Danny Roberts is set to return in goal after leaving us earlier this season so Andys loss wont be too big.
Good crowd today too and nice to see a few old faces returning, the good times are coming back and theres a buzz around the club once again.
Fabulous performance, fabulous win by a team that really is getting its mojo back !! :clap
Biggest attendance in the Division One North as well.
Following today’s win, Witton have taken 19 points from the last 24 available.
Last 8 league games: Won 6 Drawn 1 Lost 1 Scored 23 Conceded 7.
Yet another great afternoon’s entertainment, Glossop played their part , Officials did their best to spoil it. nono Would like to thank Andy Firth for his brilliant displays for the Albs and hope he goes on to have a successful football league career. bowdown
I think the best thing that has happened to us this season was the 3 weeks at the end of November without a game, due to bad weather!
At the time we were worried about relegation, and facing some tough games against Brighouse, Warrington and Northwich, teams holding 1st, 2nd and 6th places in the league.
I don’t know what work Carl and Gary did with our players during those 3 weeks, but it has transformed our side, and it has been a fantastic turnaround.
We are now above Brighouse in the League!
A fantastic performance and result. This team are playing for each other and are a joy to watch. If we don’t make the play offs this season it won’t be for the lack of trying. But just think what we could do next season. The season has well and truly been turned around, congratulations to management and players.
Not there today sorry, loving the new-found confidence though! A world away from the recent past!

No words other than what an absolutely brilliant performance and day out yesterday was. We put one of the top teams in the league in their place and Danny Andrews hat trick has to be the best one I can remember in all my time as a Wittoner.
The WAFC Guernsey branch asked me to pass on their thanks to all concerned and said what a fantastic time they had at Wincham Park. They could not speak any higher of our fantastic little club and how welcome they were made. We have some new Wittoners, albeit from afar, for life. UTA
