Upto sixth in the table, one point off the play offs with a game in hand.
Well a very good win from the lads who again put on a full of action display and we are now playing some good offensive football, Grantham were not Bad going forward but could not handle us defensively and We should have scored more than We did ! a good all round display with several good individual performances from McKenna, Sambour, Wardle and Anson plus Renshaw in the nets but my mom Smart for an all action display won a lot of ball in midfield to allow the others to play and didn’t get too involved with the nonsense that last season would have seen him sent off UTA
Yep I think that sums it up very well. A good three points against a team that tried everything to unsettle us. One or two players (Danny Mckenna particularly) were on the sharp end of a few bad tackles/ Overall though we were the better team and deserved the points.
