Seven points from the last 12 and Witton climb to 18th in the table.

A much needed result but almost as important for me was the first half performance it was as good as ive seen all season.

A solid 3 centre halves and Nick Ryan just in front gave us a base to let other players play, George Nugent and the new lad Nathan were also excellent.

Second half Hyde had to have a go but we stood firm and were worthy of 3 points.

Well done players and management.

A great 3 points and as said a much improved performance especially in the first half. Good to see Foley back on form and Okome and Nugent were very good. Some super goals probably the pick being Saunders rasping strike following a good move.

Second half was all Hyde with a strong wind but, we held firm with Hall in great form making some very good saves. The only downside was losing Foley and possibly Saunders to injuries, nevertheless a much better game and good entertainment. UTA

Well done also to the ground staff for getting the game on yesterday. There’d be plenty of grounds on the NPL circuit that wouldn’t have coped with the downpour that affected the Northwich district an hour or so before kick off.

Was “touch and go” at times though, there did appear to be small patches just outside each of the penalty areas where puddles were starting to accumulate, resulting in the ball occasionally splashing to an unexpected halt.

A very useful three points for the Albion at this stage of the season!

Might copies be available for purchase next Tuesday? Be a shame to bin them all.

It was mentioned about getting a refund on them. They actually arrived the day after the game.

Chairman John Salmon handed over a cheque for £945.50 to Mid Cheshire Hospitals Children’s Charity Appeal before the game. The amount was the gate receipts from the game against Northwich Victoria in pre season in memory of Vijay Anthwal.
