A good win to finish off with, nice to see Prince back on form and Steve Tames with a brace, We played pretty well with a much changed team and I think we demonstrated we deserve our top 7 finish My MOM Prince for his energy and winning tackles, but all the players did pretty today.
On to next season now (after the MCCF on Thursday of course ) UTA
a good entertaining game and pleased to see some away fans too for this game. We have done really well to finish where we have and be in contention for the playoffs until the last few games. Well done to all the players and staff - and another season rolls by…
A good deserved win sees us finish on a high. A good season in our first in this league, better than we all expected. But we should have known that this team would exceed our expectations, cos they just keep playing for each other and keep going to the end.
Thanks to management and players for giving everything for the club.
Also a huge pat on the back for the ground staff for giving the team such a brilliant playing surface. The pitch yesterday looked as if it was the first game of the season an d not the last. How do they do it?
Have to agree about the pitch and the game. Goodness knows how the ground staff do it the pitch looked amazing for the end of the season! Both teams deserve credit for producing a really entertaining game in a dead rubber end of season fixture played in good spirits too. Yes it was great to see so many away fans and they were having a disco in the second half. There was a bit of argy bargy with our stewards before kick off though and quite a police presence at the end which was a shame.
