From Dynamo’s web site …
Dynamo travelled to fourth placed Witton Albion in Cheshire for this Division One South fixture on the back of six straight defeats.
Manager Wayne Halcro had to reshuffle his side due to the unavailability of three senior players but welcomed the return of centre back Sam Saunders after injury.
Dynamo had the better of the opening exchanges and Saunders should have done better with a header that cleared the cross bar following a cross by Jack Oldham. Louis Keenan then headed wide on 20 mins from a cross by Jamie Clarke.
Witton came back strongly and forced a number of corners, Thomas Owens going closes when his header was cleared of the line by Danny Brain. However, Witton were not to be denied and following a long clearance by Michael Wilson, Steven Tames headed on for Robert Hopley to score past the advancing Liam Sharpe.
Dynamo were rocked by this setback and Owens blasted over from 12 yards following great work by Tames ,and Sharpe denied Hopley with an outstanding save to keep the score 1-0 at half time.
Witton had the best of the second period and put Dynamo under pressure from the restart. Hopley fired over the bar from 8 yards out following a corner and Sharpe saving well from Witton substitute Tolani Omotola.
The game was won for Witton in a seven minute spell midway through the second period. A needless free kick given away by Dynamo 35 yards out was dispatched into the net by Paul Williams, the ball never getting above 2 feet off the ground. Only six minutes later and Dynamo were guilty of overplaying in defence and Bradley Bauress won the ball and scored past Sharpe.
Worse followed one minute later as another Dynamo mistake gave Omotola a clear run on goal and his clinical finish gave Witton a 4-0 advantage and sealed the game for the home side.
Dynamo had a chance on 75 minutes, Keenan provided the cross, Jordan Ball headed back across the six yard box but Pradeep Bahrey failed to connect and the chance was lost.
Hopley then hit the Dynamo crossbar with a fine header before Dynamo scored their consolation goal in time added on when Witton were guilty of overplaying out of defence and Connor Brown-Wingfield won the ball and scored with a terrific shot from 20 yards.
This ended the action on a difficult afternoon for Dynamo which leaves them without a point out of the last seven games.
