Witton Albion vs Market Drayton Town

even though the southern division is a little weaker than the northern section you’ve got to say that 3 wins on the spin is a great start and i fancy us to win big on monday.UTA.

what this team has done is remarkable. 4 wins and 3 of the games away from home. Exciting times

They boys have had a great start long may it carry on .we need to get behind them starting with Monday. Vocal support is like a extra man .early days but can’t ask for anymore .

I think talking about it being a weaker league detracts from the start that has been made - and personally I am not convinced that’s true anyway.

The main thing is to carry on working hard, winning and supporting our team !

It would be great to see a good few of the missing Witton supporters return to the fold on Monday and get behind the team-it really is doing well and deserves a chance to impress, hope Williams is fit for monday he is important to our set up IMO. UTA

I will be there God willing. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS.

Witton welcome Market Drayton Town to The NetDec Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday in an Evo-Stik Division One South fixture. The fixture will be only the third meeting between the two respective clubs, the previous two being during Witton’s other venture into the South back in 2009. Those games were shared with Market Drayton coming out on top in the encounter played in Shropshire, whilst Witton won a six-goal thriller at Wincham Park in the return meeting. A lot has happened since then particularly for Albion with promotions, relegation, changes in management & personnel but the current team have begun the season well and will be looking to continue their good form today. Market Drayton have had an inconsistent start to the season so far, losing two out of their first three league games and have also exited the Emirates FA Challenge Cup so they will provide Witton with a difficult test. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

2 huge games this week and with the lads on a great run let’s hope for 2 big crowds. On paper tomorrow should be a straight forward victory but as we know there’s not many easy games at this level (Remember New Mills!)
Not only are we winning games were actually playing attractive football too, I’m looking forward to a good game tomorrow and Saturdays FA Cup tie is giving me a semi  just thinking about it.

[quote=“Matt Cat” post=65985] Saturdays FA Cup tie is giving me a semi  just thinking about it.

I’ve got one of those too. I share it with my wife. Had to pay for mine though. Think I paid £50,000 back in the eighties. Sorry if this is off topic.

My first sight of us tomorrow and can not wait. Hope we get lots down to WP to cheer on the league leaders and the pride of our town. UTA
