Thank you to everyone who donated to the Pitch Fund Collection on what was a hugely disappointing night, which raised the sum of £144.
The total raised so far this season is now over £1100.
A bad day at the office, I thought after the first half an hour the lads looked heavy legged which was possibly down to playing on a heavy pitch on Saturday & Nantwich having a weeks rest. 2 substitutions in the first 46 mins (Foley & McNulty) didn’t help and we had to change the shape of the team.
We move on and get ready for Warrington on Boxing Day and the chance to put things right & hopefully a decent crowd getting behind the lads.
Played well first half but 2 defensive errors and good finishing cost us dear. What the hell went on at half time to change shape to 4 at the back was a big mistake, we looked dreadful from then on. Rob Hopley could have come on at centre half if McNulty was injured, Nantwich had too much pace for our rejigged back 4. Pretty awful night for us v a pacy team who we failed to cope with.
