Witton Albion vs Newcastle Town.

We need to bounce back on Saturday and I am sure we will. “ONWARD AND UPWARDS”!
WHS.

I think we can bounce back particularly with a fully fit and available squad ? They did not look too strong at there place and we won comfortably but I am sure they will want to perform for Dundas at the Net-Dec so I expect a tough game.
My team would be :
Roberts
Gardner, Brown, Wilson, Devine
Prince, Williams, Owen, Bauress
Hopley, Tames

No reason to change what has worked so well for me UTA

Agree, if all fit and available I think that starting line up almost picks itself CJ. Looking forward to a strong performance and getting back on track. UTA

I have faith in whoever plays for us at the moment, we seem to get 100% from everyone who puts on the shirt.
WHS.

Is their any news on Cameron Dalton heard on the grapevine he is doing some light training again ? would be good if true and even better to see him back playing soon.

No news on Cameron but, the club have extended Steven Tames loan until the end of the season.

Thanks Derek, that is good news about Steve Tames. UTA

Gary mentions Cam in his notes in tomorrow’s programme.

Witton welcome promotion rivals Newcastle Town to The NetDec Stadium on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Division One South fixture. The game sees the return of some familiar faces in the Newcastle personnel namely, Town manager Scott Dundas and several players who have teamed up with him again. Amongst the playing staff are former Witton team members Jonathan Beaumont, Niall Green, Chris Baker, Aaron Dillon & leading scorer Lee Cropper. Newcastle currently sit third in the table eight points clear of the Albion but having played seven games more and have an impressive home record having won nine out of twelve in the league. Their problems have been on the road where they have suffered six defeats in twelve games. Witton go into the game unbeaten in fifteen home fixtures in all competitions this season and will be looking to keep that record intact whilst denting Town’s promotion prospects in the process. The game is an important one for both sides as they aim to close the gap at the top but, Witton will want to banish the disappointment of the midweek defeat at Market Drayton Town. Today’s game becomes more crucial on the back of that. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

Also no offence to the ground staff in my previous post as they are legends just fed up with s**** weather every Saturday!

Think we might be ok, its a local team so we can have a later inspection, its thawing now and BBC given temps up to 5c later so that will thaw it quickly fingers crossed we will be ok. UTA

Haven’t heard of any planned pitch inspection so things appear to be ok.
