Well we weren’t brilliant by any means but won the game ok after going in one nil down at half time, our keeper made a couple of good saves in the first half too! As well as three good goals in the second half we hit the post and Danny had the ball in the net but was offside. The crowd was 203.

WE were a bit flat in the first half and Osset played pretty well with lots of energy, we woke up a bit after the goal and got a grip on the game, once we equalised I thought there would be only one winner and we totally dominated the second half winning it well in the end and considering we were again without Roberts, Schoey, Dawson and Toby so another good 3 points upto 10th in the table and looking forward to saturday V Trafford who will be a tough test. “”… come from 1- nil down to win 3-1… but… but… they can’t do that - it goes against my narrative to de stabilise the club by inventing problems … I must keep away at all costs…“”

Didn’t see that result coming at half time, but more than deserved it second half. Could and probably should have scored more but massive credit to Carl again with a makeshift team  Peers’ free kick was top draw quality!

I’d like to give little Joe newton a mention. Although he only came on for the last five minutes or so he terrorised ossetts defence and nearly scored.
With the amount of energy he has (and should have, coz he only looks about 14) I’d like to see him more involved in the last few games.

Totally agree Witton Massive i really like Joe who despite his lack of height isn’t afraid to get stuck in, on his debut at Kendal the 6’2 meathead defender couldn’t believe this lad who looks like he’s still at School was not only tackling him but Joe got the better of him time after time!
Would love to see him in a Witton shirt next season
