What’s this top 4 budgetyou keep going on about ? Please explain
Do you expect a manager to come into a club that’s been on a demise for the past few years and get promotion in one season?? Really! That’s ludicrous! Is that what Dundas promised?
You need to get over hating him, take off those rose tinted specs and smell the coffee!
I’m surprised you aren’t calling for calls head already!
C J you say no ones slating the Norton lads quote matt catt he said scott brought the dead wood.
mookie blaylock so forgot put full stop in SORRY
ZICOHARPER you say scott at the level hes good at well the clubs really doing well since he left 2 wins and 6 defeats.
Dawson has being played at full back by scott/hoggy/and the other 2 manages and the times ive see him on the wing he gives 100% but isn’t good enough. and as for saying scott at his level WATCH WAT YOU WISH FOR BECAUSE WITTON MAY BE THERE NEXT YEAR .sick .
if i was a player/manager thinking of coming to witton and read this i would think twice.
a lot of people on here just slate player old/new and most not all gave there all for witton albion
to many people who countnt pick there nose nether mind pick a team

Yes thats exactly what he promised actually!
At the fans forum before the season began Scott and Mark said nothing less than promotion was acceptable this season

And to be fair, that’s exactly what Pritch did a few years ago - in his first managerial role, and with a smaller budget.

He’s not here to ask but I seriously doubt he’d have promised promotion.
Actually Pritch didn’t do that, he was the joint manager in 2010/11 and got promoted 2011/12 plus they weren’t on the back of a dilapidated team following relegation so it’s no comparison

A manager at any football club is set a target at the start of a season - Scott’s was to gain promotion. Pritch did get us back to the league that Scott was targeted to - fact. In my book that is a comparison.

So the conversation went like this did it ‘i will take the job and I will get promotion in my first season, if I don’t win my first 10 games in charge you can sack me’
Bull****
Pritch did get us promotion but he had been with the club for years he wasn’t a newcomer and as I’m sick of repeating myself NOT THE SEASON AFTER RELEGATION WITH A DILAPIDATED SQUAD!!
All the more reason to give Pritch the job instead of Carl don’t you think
Chairman and the board have pulled a blinder this time
please READ WHAT IS WRITTEN BEFORE YOU REPLY.
I NEVER CRTICISED SCOTT ABOUT WHAT LEVEL HE WAS OR WASN,T AT.
My response was to your savaging of Jon Dawson.just exactly how many times have you seen him play as a winger?
because to my recollection i have only seen him play there 2 or 3 times (not consecutively)and certainly not given 5 or 6 games on the trot
Managers are supposed to win matches, particularly home matches and sadly the team Mr Dundas had put together did not do this. He had faith in players who were simply not up to it so he got the sack. We have a new manager now, if he can win home games regularly he should keep his job because that will keep us up. Regardless of financial issues I still want Rushe and his mob gone.
WHS.

Neither you or I know how the conversation went and yes of course Pritch should have got the job. According to you the conversation must have gone something like this:
Mark - Welcome to Witton Scott. Where do you hope the team will finish this season? We are in a league if not two below where we should be.
Scott - I dunno really. Hopefully we won’t get relegated to the North West Counties League, if we can end up floating around mid table that would be a great result.
Mark - Brilliant! I’m sure our supporters will be delighted to hear that and avoid relegation again. Good luck.
What you also seem to forget is that our four best players (Andrews, Gards, Titch and Dawson) were already at the club and that Scott brought most of the rest in himself. What are you his wingman or something?
What you fail to see with those rose tinted glasses on is that Our 4 best players are no better than what Dundas bought in. It the way you go on they’re Ronaldo Beckham Rooney and Vardy

Don’t think you are a wittoner but anyway the four I mentioned have been dragged down to the level we are at by the players Dundas brought in. The keeper was the only one I would have kept at the club. And if you talk about Jamie Vardy in the same breath as Ronaldo, Beckham and Rooney its clear you know jack s**t about football. But thanks for the knowledge anyway wingman
Don’t really care who you think I am buddy, being accused of being Dundas and some geezer named dave so far, find it quite amusing
I know enough about football to know when players are under performing and with perhaps the exception of Gards this is exactly what the others are doing. and when you harp on about budgets ask yourself how much these 4 are getting paid to under perform each week
