There’s always room on a band wagon!!

Good win for the albs today in poor conditions. Looked dangerous everytime we went forward and great to keep a clean sheet as well.
Well done to all. UTA

A well fought win today. First half was dreadful but we came out second half determined to win. Well done to the ground staff for getting the game on and also for keeping their cool with the arrogant radcliffe player / staff member who had no respect when he was asked not to use a certain area of the pitch.

Well played again Witton, could really get used to this winning lark. Only good Radcliffe defending and not so good finishing stopped us scoring first half. How good a goalscorer is Rob Hopley? What a difference he’s made to the team and Jay Mathews isn’t too shabby either. Any news on Gards injury? it takes a lot to make him leave the field. Don’t know about last week but today Callum was very unlucky to get a yellow for a ball blasted at his hand from two yards away. Yet again Team of the day goes to the groundstaff for getting a game for us to watch.

Just noticed the comment about the Radcliffe official. Was stood watching that, he came very close to wearing that pitchfork.

Gards has commented that he’s fine and came off as a precaution.

Great to follow the game online from Nottingham - thank you! (Sorry for appearing dumb, I only just realised that this is done for every match!)

Our Witton England Flag was on display at the GB Ice Skating Champs today!

Win for the Albs, win for the Tricky Trees…U12’s Albs Wolves v Davenham tomorrow… bring it!

Every Witton game is covered in a number of ways and it’s great to know that we are reaching Albion fans far and wide.

Another very good performance from the lads perhaps not the finest but really solid and I give credit to Radcliffe who played pretty well, We have a real balance to our team now with high energy and ability in the midfield and a consistent threat up top where Rob Hopley has been really excellent brilliant in the air, a threat on the ground and above all a real presence fans love him already-great signing, shame Callum Hassan will now be suspended but hopefully Titch will be fit soon to keep us balanced. My MOM was Reeves who is a cracking player, very composed, high tempo, very fit and all over the midfield thought he was excellent today but again really all the lads played well which is why we are playing so well and on such a good winning run, would be great to get the 3 loans extended until the end of season if that is possible or signed permanently even better. Also thought Jon Dawson had a cracking game seems to be growing into the full back role and I notice 2 things about him he is making far less mistakes and winning far more 50/50 tackles to me he now looks a team player at left back not just a fill in and with his excellent attitude and attacking ability he is a real plus for the team. Lets keep this run going UTA.

You do a great job Derek and thanks also to Trevor.

Concur with everything CJ said…

The team has been taking shape over the past couple of months and we are now starting to see Carl’s team emerge from the mess we were in earlier in the season. We are not the finished article yet (is a team ever?) but we are a match now for anyone in this league. Is it being too optimistic to start looking up and counting points to play off positions?

At the very least we look like a club that has found itself again (on and off the pitch) with reasons to be optimistic for the rest of the season. In the dark days after Scott Dundas left, the management and board were subject to some pretty severe (and sometimes unnecessary) criticism, Th\at’s also behind us now. So credit where credit is due and thanks to all those who have managed this turn around in fortunes. :clap

after seeing the pictures of the pitch yesterday morning i cant help but praise all involved that got our pitch playable and 3 pts for the albs.well done all :clap
