Priceless victory now takes us onto 48 points.

Couldn’t be there tonight but what a huge result! Absolutely chuffed to bits!

Up the Town Team!!!

FT Frickley 1 King’s Lynn Town 1.
FT Marine 3 Blyth 3
FT Ramsbottom 0 Barwell 1.

Another good performance, and a superb free kick from Danny. Three good goals actually.

The last 3 performances have been superb, and we probably deserved more than 6 points from them. If we can show that spirit and will to win v Ashton we might get something on Saturday.

Sully deserves a lot of credit for instilling a great spirit in the side. UTA!

We can do this!

Following tonight’s results, if Nantwich beat Belper on Saturday and Frickley beat Rushall then Belper will be relegated!

Attendance: 261.

Fantastic win tonight. Gave a way a stupid goal, then nearly another. Came out determined in second half. Three very good goals, second was great football. Well done to all. It was freezing though.

A brilliant result moves us to within spitting distance of survival. What a fantastic goal from Danny, if it was on Match Of The Day it would be shown over and over again and again. Danny was my mom closely followed by Titch, who is getting closer to his best. Both players showed total commitment and covered every inch of the pitch. But all the players should take a pat on the back for the determination they showed.

What a great turn around. I feared the worst at half time as the final ball was poor and we were just pumping high stuff up to no avail. But we revived and started to spread play around and get the short passes going. I thought all 3 goals were really high quality, with the move for Titch’s being the tops for me. Credit to the team and management for a strong collective effort. I can’t wait for the ground to be rocking for FCUM by which time, hopefully, we are safe. Mostly great results elsewhere last night as well.

What a difference a fortnight makes! Going into the Frickley game it was all doom and gloom, and suddenly we’re 9 points from 12 better off, and the one defeat was probably our best performance!

Still a bit of work to do, but looking at the form table we are now up to 4th - to put some perspective on that, FCUM are 5th. So we’re in better form than the champions-elect!

The only worry is Ashton are 3rd!!

Good to see Titch scoring again, and his work-rate has been brilliant of late. Makes a huge difference as he scares defenders half to death.

A win and a couple of draws should be enough, and i think 2 wins would absolutely seal it. We got to 60 points last year, so that is the benchmark, but 4 wins would be pushing it i feel!

Recent results are proof-positive that a happy dressing room is a winning dressing room.

Great result and 3-2 flattered Rushall to be honest as we created so many chances 2nd half.
We always come out for the 2nd 45 like a different team so my only gripe is whatever Sully says at half time can he start saying before the lads leave the dressing room at kick off
Agree with comments on Corbett who looks much better in midfield and took his headed goal brilliantly.
Titch and Danny ran their socks off but the whole team played really well with some great tackles going in
Roll on Saturday now and looking forward to going to Ashton as it has a lovely bar, a win for the Alb’s will virtually hand the title to FC United but just imagine the crowd on April 11th if they could win the league at Wincham park!!

Another great result, superb 3 points and a fantastic strike from Danny at the end. E.I.E.I.O!

Credit where its due, since Robbo gave Sully his pep talk don’t think we’ve looked back bowdown bowdown

The whole thing about the first half was that we DID’NT “lump the ball up”. We played the ball about with aplomb trying to frustrate Rushall, that play would be lauded in the premiership or “on the continent”. We weren’t incisive enough up front maybe but I could see what we were trying to do, Zak Corbett looked much more confident where he was and every player contributed. It was good stuff and laid the foundations for the win despite the goal we rather gifted away (good job the other one wasn’t scored mind!).

Second half was different, all our goals were good and we held Rushall off well, they are no mugs and were themselves playing football, they were not by any means a team of “good big 'uns”.

Anyway another brilliant result against a team well up the league, superb spirit in the team and with Sully and the others too, great to see! A disappointing note on the terraces was some of the criticism and BOOING (when they nearly scored a second), also a couple of shouts of “sort it out Sullivan”…I rather think that is what he is doing! COME ON THE ALBIOOON lets stay up!

I feel that the detrimental comments from the terraces are more out of frustration than anything else. We consistently and needlessly seem to gift goals to the opposition through silly mistakes putting ourselves under pressure. The fans have been served up with some real dross this season and I feel that they have been extremely patient and supportive towards both the manager and the club. Witton are now becoming a very difficult team to beat and with a couple more wins and continued 110% effort from the players we should be ok. UTA
