Saturday sees Witton welcome Scarborough Athletic to The NetDec Stadium for an Evo-Stik Division One North fixture which fell foul of the weather earlier in the season. The season has proved a struggle for them so far with a change in manager now starting to see it’s rewards. They are also in the Semi Finals of the Integro Doodson League Cup where they will host Ilkeston. The long term plans for the club centre around them moving back to the town, as they are currently playing their home games at Bridlington Town’s Queensgate Ground but there does appear to be progress on that front. Witton will be looking to end a winless run that stretches back five matches but Scarborough will provide tough opposition. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

Social Club: The Social Club is open from 12.30 and the Matchday Kitchen within the Social Club serving hot food will be open from 1pm onwards - including Fish, Chips & Peas - £4.95. New additions to the menu are as follows: Helen’s Hotpot, Homemade Steak & Tatton Pie, Chicken Fillet Burger & Children’s meal - Chicken Dippers, Chips & Beans. (Prices available on request).

Social Club Access: Before the game, the Social Club is accessible by way of the main entrance ONLY. From half time onwards the Social Club is accessible from inside the stadium via a passageway within the main stand. Alcohol is permitted inside the stadium but MUST be in a plastic beaker.

Please note: As the Social Club is now a full-time food preparation area, dogs are not permitted inside the building - with the exception of assistance dogs (hearing & visually impaired).

An interesting game, especially as they won at the NetDec stadium a couple of days ago.

With 4 new signings this week, and possibly Titch coming back into consideration, team selection could start to become more difficult. However, I doubt if Tom Schofield will have recovered from the horror tackle

Because of the time he’s been out, I think it more likely that Titch would probably start on the bench. Some interesting choices for Carl & Gary this afternoon.

Andrew Simpson is reporting this morning that Alex Titchiner is returning after injury, Tom Schofield should be OK.
