Witton Albion vs Stalybridge Celtic.

2nd highest attendance on the night after Alty - you can’t drag folks out if they decide to stay at home - but the other lot did have nigh on 300 after their cup win so shows how important cup wins are to build momentum

The team’s lofty position might bring a few more out at the weekend. We can only hope it has the desired effect.

Thought we were superb last night and it could have easily been 6 or 7. We seem to be getting the balance just right now and the new players we have brought in seem to be gelling well with the rest, which was always going to take a while. Prince and McKenna were outstanding, Foley seems to be getting better each game too and looks very promising.

Not going to get carried away but credit must be given to Carl and his staff for what looks like another very promising looking Witton squad in a much more difficult league. UTA

Suppose with Liverpool being on telly yesterday it may had kept a fair few in. But still 244 is a wee low. We have our core supporters and that’s what matters to me anyway. This weekend could be a good measure on how many fans we really have on a Saturday as I cannot expect many Rushall supporters turning up with their current form and they have a relatively small fanbase anyway. Some of the premier division regulars like Matlock get 400 regularly and that’s without any promotion pushes. #UTA

A cracking result last night and plenty of good football by us. Echo the fact that Mckenna had a great game closely followed by Prince. But the whole team plated well and are at times a joy to watch, so come on Witton fans get to the game on Saturday to watch the team that is top of the league. UTA
