Thank you to everyone who joined in the minutes applause before yesterday’s game in memory of the Wittoners we have lost over recent months.

Massively disappointing start to the season, I was so hopeful going into the game I genuinely thought that we would win comfortably. I still think we have the best squad of players we have had in a long time, but something just didn’t work on Saturday! I never like to see us start with one upfront at home, especially with Steve Tames on the bench a strange decision for me.

Full of optimism after some decent signings but come on 4 5 1 at home again with 5 strikers on the books is a joke surely. Poor display all round, lacked any control and we were outbattled by Whitby who had a bit of pace about them. We saw 2 promising full backs during pre season so why not sign one, Danny McKenna doesn’t look happy at full back at all. A lot of work to do to improve the team from this game’s evidence.

Disappointing performance but no reason for doom and gloom after one game. I’m led to believe the full back v Bala Town also had an offer from Burton Albion & there were problems with paperwork because he had been playing pro football in Scotland. So instead of criticising find out the full facts as to why players aren’t signed,
Just a thought, If you ask questions you usually get decent answers.

Just a foot note to my last post, I have no argument about people’s comments about performance it was poor.

Or the club could communcate with the fans, and it’s up to the manager to get a balanced squad!
