As a father myself I can reassure Robbo that Dad’s are wrong sometimes, especially about footbal results, I myself made the mistake of believing we would win the league last season and look how wrong I was. Still, this season will be different, won’t it? For one thing you won’t have me there "Jonahing" the team!!! Seriously, I think this time you are right Robbo and this time we will go up, but I think it may be via a play-off, Fleetwood still worry me.

Another 3 points, enough said! Like earlier in the season, I think we are building up to another big performance, lets hope it’s tomorrow.
I agree with Neil in that I don’t think we are playing as well as we have been doing. Several players not surprisingly look tired and individual mistakes and giving the ball away too often are beginning to creep in. That said every game is now a cup final for us everyone wants to beat us now and our midfield has been missing people like Brown, Peers, Lloyd recently. The lads like Wilson and Wood who’ve come in have done a good job. We still have quality lads like Kearney, Dillon, Spearitt, Rutter sitting on the bench who will surely have some part to play as I can’t see us playing out the rest of the season without injury. I think the big thing is we are showing a lot more resilence than we did last season and the Boxing Day game would proably hve been one we would have lost last season.
WHS I don’t think you should beat yourself up about us not going up last season. We failed by the very narrowest of margins and your prediction was not that far short and yes Fleetwood are a threat. All the lads can do is keep on winning and this will put more pressure on Fleetwood to win their outstanding games. I’d rather have the points on the board. As for Robbo senior yes I sometimes get a little pessimistic myself about us going up but the truth is even though we are not playing as well we are still getting results and this is the hallmark of a good team. Peersie should be back for the Buxton game and if we can get a result against them then I would think this is a mighty step towards winning the league outright. A draw at Eastwood next week would be out of this world as they are a good side also. Lets all get behind the lads because the more noise we make the more it will lift them. Onward and Upward!! C’mon the Albion!!

Its a shame that we do have some people who turn up and make judgements on one performance, I agree with you Knutsfordian 55 points before the new year is an incredible return and there is not a team in the land who would not want to be in our position in their respective league, lets all get behind the lads tomorrow, it will have to be noisy because Buxton will be bringing the biggest away following of the season so far and I’m sure will be behind their team.
