I attended the game last night and we played some great football,the team must be gutted not to have taken all 3 points.Calvin made two great saves and such is his ability with the ball at his feet resulted in Workington putting a forward on him to try and stop him playing.The ex captain made countless raids right up until the final whistles,everybody played their part.The home crowd were kept quiet with their play always in front of our commanding defence.Workington will have a good home record this year but they didn’t have it all their own way last night.JT must be gutted.

I have some sympathy with JT and his concerns, however the big difference is I’m 100% behind Carl and his team but I don’t have to like or agree with his every decision they make, never have with any Witton manager and probably never will ! UTA

UTA. I too was gutted to see Danny go but please everyone lets give Calvin the chance he deserves. He has been excellent and proved his doubters wrong every game so far this season and long may it continue for me. We all need to back our keeper and our club 100%. What a great start we have had! CJ you are wrong,JT has launched a personal and childish attack on our manager that it beggars belief,if i take JTs logic then why weren’t hundreds of Wittoners at Borough Park last night because i was there where were you all.Apparently he has to entertain us all after the final whistle,mingling and telling jokes,this really has to stop and JTs cancerous vibes are the reason why i hardly bother tapping the keyes.
Agreed their is no reason or need to attack Carl who is doing a great job, but I stand by my comments that everyone has the right to an opinion on this forum, others can challenge that view of course but it should be done constructively. UTA
