Nice to have the good news of such a comprehensive victory after a very tough few weeks for me. There is an outside chance I might even be able to get to the game next Monday, here’s hoping. If so, same again please :slightly_smiling_face:.

If Carlsberg did Boxing days. Brilliant performance all over, couldnt pick a MOM.

Their forum states we were as poor as them. Whoever posted that clearly were attending a different game.

We’ve played some excellent football this season but first half was the best I’ve seen this year.
How they kept 11 players on the pitch only the ref can answer that.

We were too quick, too good and too classy for them today as we always will be.

Far too quick all over the pitch, we made their defence a bag of nerves both up and down the slope.

Brilliant performance on a pitch that would normally be a leveller, perfect away win.

Marvellous from start to finish today - most enjoyable Witton game in a long, long time.

Imagine watching football there every other week though… deary me. Can’t wait to get them back to WP and give them another lesson on Easter Monday.

On another note, a number of members on their forum are claiming that there were at least 650 greens out of the 836 crowd. I think they’ve had too much ale this weekend (just like their players!)

And the one who said we were poor, as the great Windsor Davies use to say on it Ain’t half hot Mum “oh dear, how sad, never mind.”

Not been able to get to many games but really pleased to make this one. Witton were excellent, 1874 were poor. Result could have been even worse for 74. Definitely the makings of a good team and Hughes is the best forward we have had for some time

Cracking win lads nice to see Barrow back. Keep this form going and the play offs are in sight.

A neutral that was there said about 300 from each club and about 200 neutrals and that sees normal business resume with the Reds as the top placed team. UTA

Fantastic result against 1874 another solid performance. I was a bit worried going to this game as apparently they were a good team, I needn’t have worried.

After 20 minutes play we dominated the game there was a section of there supporters giving our players terrible abuse on the touch line, they went quiet after the 3rd goal.

Well done Witton keep it going play offs are in sight.

Very impressive performance, great crowd. Would have said 250-300 wittoners and the same for 74. Great team performance. Hughes & Duckworth look like a great partnership. Elliot Rokka looks to be getting better and better too.

A great win shows how we are progressing and we can really go for the play offs. Keep it going .
