Witton make the short journey to Winsford on Thursday night when they take on 1874 Northwich in the Semi Finals of the Mid Cheshire District FA Senior Cup. The fixture comes at a time when Witton are pushing for promotion in the Evo-Stik Division One South and will give the opportunity for players who have limited game time under their belts in recent weeks. There will still be that competitive aspect of the game irrespective of the team that the Albion management team select as a trophy is at stake and the prospect of a meeting in the final with tenants Northwich Victoria is a possibility. The tie will be settled on the night with Extra Time and penalties if necessary. Kick off at the St Luke’s Barton Stadium is 7.45pm.
