I wonder if anyone out there could solve a minor dispute. I have a vivid memory of Witton getting tonked in the Cheshire Cup final in 1980 by Winsford United at Gresty Road, Crewe. Another source tells me it was played at Middlewich Town. Which one of us is right? And could anyone post a picture of said match?

I may be wrong but wasn’t Neville Southall in goal for Winsford that day

It is possible, he signed for Bury in 1980 but not sure what part of the year.
