I See they cannot raise a team for Wednesday night FA vase clash at Morpeth lol ! a few weeks ago they were talking of winning it now they have pulled out ! i wonder are they in serious trouble ! sounds a bit Sunday league to me, and no sense of humour on here well yet again I was splitting my sides laughing at this news. UTA
Now now CJ, it’s not their fault!! It’s Morpeth or the FA’s.
Crowds are down and now they can’t field a side.
Still the top side in Mid Cheshire apparently…
That 1 default promotion and they got delusions of grandeur.
I’ve heard some of their fans have started to return to the original V*cs too. The cup run has definitely reignited interest for some that did not follow them to Stafford and Flixton.
Well its a proper team after all with a history albeit no ground - 2012 no history and no ground, the only thing they both have in common its never their fault, cannot raise a team last time I heard that was The Plough FC circa 2005 in the - MID CHESHIRE SUNDAY LEAGUE. lol
UTA
There was that time they couldnt raise a team to play maidstone and had to get steve garnett and his mates out of the crowd to play. They must be a bit past it now though.
now now CJ, you’ll have Toddy’s blood pressure going through the roof. They could be fined as well I suppose, they may have to dip into their Back Near Northwich ground fund
Any need for this guys? A 4 hour journey when most of the team can’t finish work til 5ish. At this time of the year I have no holidays left and I’m sure that applies to some of the team too and the fans.
The FA could have allowed the game to go ahead on Saturday and played to a finish but refused and yet allowed your tenants to continue in another cup despite clerical incompetence.
Does this seem fair to you? But then again you probably don’t care.
Enjoy your laffs, good luck for Saturday.
Is there any need for the thread about us on your own forum?
If you’re happy to give it out, you can’t get all sensitive when you get some back.
If we get beat on Saturday or if you get a bigger attendance tony and toddy won’t be able to contain themselves.

Well said woody glass houses and all that. Their derogatory thread about us is 11 pages long to date.
complaining there were no laughs on our forum, now complaining too many. no pleasing some folk nono . Not had much to smile about this season, please don’t begrudge us this moment. Surely when entering a nationwide competition, which takes place over the winter season the club would of been aware of the possibility that a game could be postponed and what the rules state about rearranged games.
It’s 1874, a fan run club trying to go forward on a sustainable basis. The “Real V*cs” (what an utter disgrace to call 2004/2007 that!) keep going having paid 0 pence of a 37p in the pound CVA, accumulating winding up orders where the money is produced out of a hat each time on the last day in court…AND WE HAVE LET THEM GROUNSHARE WITH US, what a disgrace. mooney

It is good business, a steady income with annual reviews, any defaults and they’re out. No brainer in my eyes
Will never understand why fans go onto other clubs forums? Who gives a toss what those fake football fans have written or said, I am not liking the way things are happening at the club at the minute but I support Witton end of, oh wait no actually I might start supporting Vics now because they are top of the league, like the annoying kid in class those 2012 morons! We all know where this ends with them playing Counties football (I use the word football loosely) for the rest of their days.
I once had a game called off at 7s because we couldn’t get a team due to people working, great standard that ha ha!
Anyway looking forward to Saturday just hope we get 11 players to turn up?

Just seen their thread, wow Toddy loves talking about Witton doesn’t he! He also appears to be talking to himself the majority of the time!
It’s a shame for them because the majority of the others don’t seem as bitter and just focus on their own club. There’s always one.
It sounds like they would be better off entering the Moss Farm Sevens cup next season rather than a national comp if they can’t get a team out. Less travelling for their fans if they did that too, winsford to northwich aint too far B)

It’s no problem for your boss coz your paper round is done for 9am!
We’ve been giving it out for a few weeks now  but now we’re on the receiving end :S .
It’s what football banter is all about and what creates that great atmosphere on Derby days!
Have to go now and get some more ammo for when Paul returns to our forum. Where have you been Paul - I’ve missed you.

Well said!
The FA have announced today, 1874 Northwich will NOT receive any further punishment for withdrawing from the FA Vase in November and that they WILL be allowed to enter the competition next season as normal.
