I hope to see most home games but some of the away matches are not only a fair distance but not easy to get to. Still, should be fun for those brave souls who go and as the league appears a little weaker than the Northern section perhaps we might even win it as long as Vics run out of money!!
WHS.
Evesham United 's Chairman is planning an appeal, following the decision to put them in the Evo-Stik Division One South. His claims are that it will more than double their travelling. So watch this space.
It is likely the appeal will be lodged by Wednesday at the latest. The Chairman said " the decision was a joke" “We are not a Northern club.”
Do we get priority as it is our ground, if not it will show even more why we should not have let Vics share.
WHS.
Actually Wheels your comment does not make sense!!
WHS.
WHS - Wheels makes perfect sense - He is talking about Evesham and their Chairmans comments about being switched into the Northern premier league div 1 south, We are provisionally in the Div 1 South with V**s and we will have control of match dates as the home tenant.
ps I have sent you a PM
They are in the southern section and yet the Evesham chairman says they are not a northern club so what is their problem?
WHS.
They are being moved from the “Southern premier league div 1 south” to the “Northern premier league div 1 south” a whole new region thats why they are unhappy
Oh, I get it now. I thought they were already in our league.
WHS.
The FA have now reversed their decision. Stamford WILL be playing in the Evo-Stik Division One South next season. Evesham have won their appeal and will remain in the Southern League, Corby Town will be in the Evo-Stik Premier Division as originally planned.

Talking to someone in the PB yesterday and they said Titch, Danny and Gards have all moved on?
With zero news coming out of the club can anyone confirm if we have any players at all?
I thought Gards, Danny and Rob Hopley had already committed to next season, but sadly could see Titch leaving, Carl has said all last years players have been invited back to preseason training ! of course that does not necessarily mean they will sign for the Albs, the management are also shifting there sights to scout players from the South Cheshire area also, so we might see a few new faces eventually.

When signing on players, they can be as a contracted player, or a non-contract player. When I was last serving as Football Secretary, both types need to be registered with the league, and the terms of any contracts need to be accepted by the FA. Neither the League, nor the FA accept such forms until later in the summer, I can’t remember the exact date, but the 1st July rings a bell. As such, the only players that can be officially signed-on at the moment are those that were on a contract last season, which lasts for more than one season. Clubs can get players to sign registration forms in advance, but they don’t become valid until the League and the FA confirm that the forms are accepted by them. I think another team in Northwich got docked 9 points last season for playing a player without getting the acceptance from the FA, even though they were adamant they had sent the forms in.

Does that mean Titch and Danny have?
heard titch has gone colwyn bay
Losing Titch isn’t a disaster and a change of scenery may do the lad good and hope he finds his mojo again.
Losing Danny would be a disaster though - our most influential and consistent player by a mile over the last 5 years or so!
None of this is confirmed officially at the present time. Once any official news is available it will be announced.
