I have just put these fixtures into a spreadsheet, and with the help of Google Maps, worked out the route/distance/travelling time to all our away games (subject to confirmation).

We will travel 2836 miles to our away games next season, at an average of just over 123 miles per game, which will take us 60hours 34mins over the season.

If anybody wants a copy of the spreadsheets, pm me with your email address.

how many miles did we travel this season geoff?

Loads of tasty away games there to relish, And without travelling to far ! it looks like a very tough and interesting season, all the non league fans in Northwich should have a great time watching the Albion Home and away UTA

From what I worked out for Mallbank Coaches to establish the coach fares, we traveled 5830miles to just league games, at an average 253.5miles per league game. (considering 1 game we didn’t travel to at all (Vics), it was quite a lot of miles.)

Message to PAUL S.

I got a message via AOL that you would like a copy of the spreadsheet, (I dont seem to be able to view my pm’s on here for some reason). Can you email me at thtachedtavern@aol.com, and I will send the spreadsheet as a reply)…cheers, Jeff

Thanks Jeff - I have emailed you.

Since the website has been updated I have noticed that in order to send a PM to someone you need to firstly “connect” with the person you are sending the message to. A bit like the facebook friend request process. Thanks again.

The Evo-Stik League Premier Division structure for 2017/18 has now been confirmed by the FA.

Gutted at the number of “home” games for the Otley supporters - just Farsley and Shaw Lane within easy reach - ah well

Onwards and upwards and Westwards next season - UTA!

Shame about Frickley getting relegated but hey ho you also have the Whitby weekender on your doorstep…sort of

The Evo-Stik League AGM takes place in June where everything is rubber-stamped.

It’s easier and quicker for me to get to Wincham Park than Whitby! Although the weekender is always tempting! Not done one yet but maybe break my duck next season.

Whitby weekender sheer heaven. Can recommend Trenchers down on the Quay. They do take away fish and chips but the restaurant is a little pricey but superb. They even tell you on a board in there what trawler landed the fish that morning that your going to eat in there. I guess the fish and chips are good every where in Whitby but this place is kind of special. Roll on the Season mind you might take in some cricket at Scarborough before then anyways!!

New micro-pub opened on the railway station at Whitby - limited opening hours so check beforehand
