3rd Annual Beer Festival

Plans are already underway for 9th-11th May.

Anybody interested in sponsoring a barrell at £85 please let myself or Neil know.

Emails to wittonalbionclubshop@gmail.com

Thanks

The limited edition ale has been decided, and the design is in place, thanks to http://teestotal.com/

A t shirt design will be available for £12.99 but after the festival, as it’s a surprise :stuck_out_tongue:

Put me down for 1 shirt and and more than 1 bottle please ste

If anyone can get posters up around town or flyers on shop counters please give me a shout. I can email the stuff to you or print it off and drop it off if you can’t print them yourselves. Will do as many as needed, so please help spread the word if you can.

We could also do with a couple omore spponsors if possible so if anyone fancies a barrell (the sponsorship I mean) please let me or Ste know ASAP.
Its £85 which gets you 5 tickets to the festival as well as publicity all weekend in the programme, over the bar etc.
Cheers

Just a reminder that flyers and posters for the beer festival are at the club and will be available tomorrow night. If anyone can get them in local shop windows etc please feel free to take a few

Loads going on lately and I appreciate free time is rare and funds are getting tighter with PLAY OFF FEVER abounding, but please do promote the beer festival if you can on social media or handing out flyers or putting posters up.

Plenty to go around and im happy to drop off colour posters and flyers to anyone who would like some

Just dropped a small stack off at pp racing as he always takes bets on witton. Hopefully that will get a bit of interest?! Oh and i put a few on some vics fans windscreens at work last night but i’m not sure if they can make it.
mooney

Thinking of doing the tasting notes in colour this time to get some red and white in them, but it gives me a problem printing. Would anyone be able to print 250 sheets double sided if I emailed over the notes? There wont be much colour, just some red to make them standout.

Any offers would help, for instance if 5 of us managed to print 50 each. I may get sacked if I do 250 at work :S

The Beer Festival starts tonight. Hope to see as many Wittoners down there as possible guinness

Lets raise some money for the club whilst having a real-ale-y good time…

Put some cash in the coffers ready for next seasons attempt to reach 40 points as soon as possible :goal

Im coming down on Sat with the missus, Shes worried tho as she doesnt drink beer but ive told her she must have half a pint of each one

I too will be down on Saturday day and night, looking forward to it guinness

Look forward to seeing you all this weekend.

As usual, the Thursday was a laugh, with the manager coming down for a chat. If you missed it, you missed it. Better luck next year :stuck_out_tongue:

The only thing I can reveal is that he really doesnt want the Everton job.

Hope everyone enjoyed the beer fest. Many people and new faces (?) there on Saturday.

On the minus side, and a warning to anyone who leaves anything like a bicycle outside. My mountain bike (White Mtrax 1.0) was stolen between 2.30 and 8pm on Saturday. It was locked to a railing with a cable lock, but that’s the only bit I’ve got left! It’s always been a safe place in the past.

I hope the little s**t who nicked it crashes, goes over the handlebars, and breaks a few teeth, that would make me smile, and ruin theirs!!

What twats! Hope you find out who nicked it Ron.

Would just like to add that there are still many bottles of the Moseley Goals for £3 each. If you want some just nip down to the club on Thursday night, when it’s always open. I think there is also a quiz on Thursday if anyone fancies it.

Had a great night last night, really pleased that the event turned out to be a huge success.

As always it’s disappointing that it’s the same old usual suspects who not only turn up to support these events, but also who muck in with the organising and running of them. Beginning to wonder if the vast majority of Wittoners do actually want a successful football club or not…

Thanks to Ste, Neil, etc for another brilliant Witton weekend, Well done to all involved.

A very enjoyable evening down at the club, well done to those faithful organisers.

Big Gazza’s Freddie Mercury act will live long in the memory of those present.
