7 day approach

From Alsager Town FC for Dorryl Proffitt.

Surely he won’t be tempted? He’s finally getting a go in the first team and scoring goals!

He’d be mad to go there surely? He’s doing well for us at the moment. Although his choice of head-gear leave alot to be desired… ;D

It’s at least good to see another Football Club going the correct way in their attempts to secure one of our players. Can’t see him getting a cult following from the double figure crowds so Dorryl please take confidence from your opportunity now with the Albion.

Stay with the Albion Dozzler!!!

If - as expected - the Dozzler does decide to move to Alsager, then the Supporters Team would love him to turn out for us at some point so that we could show our appreciation.

DON’T GO!!!

DOZZLER CAN’T GO. I SAID SO.

Interesting.

Out of interest, how does another team know if a player is on contract or not? are we oblidged to tell if an inquiry is made?

Strange timing with the F.A. Trophy & 5 subs allowed to be named. Also we ain’t got that many - consistently - available forwards just now

Still Good luck to him as he needs to stop his nomadic footballing.

It’s bad timing definately. Could of at least done with keeping hold of him until Crowe is fit…

At least England’s impending elimination from the Euros should mean Thornley is available more often.

gutted, loved the dozzler

Time flys, thats got to be the fastest 7 days ever

A club can find out by asking the UniBond League Secretary whether a player is Contract or not.

GE

Cheers Graham

GUTTED.

Obviously don’t know the circumstances to what Dossler has been offered but to be honest I don’t think Jim could say his was the first name on the team sheet every week! I think anyone who leaves Witton is crazy and in this case I think to go to a Unibond Div 1 club is a retrograde step if he has any career aspirations. Ok we might be short on specialist forwards but we do have Dean Craven to come back in and when Alex gets fit how about playing him further forward leaving Macca to play alongside Lloydie. We’ve all seen Alex who is quick, tricky and does have an eye for goal so him being further forward might not be such a bad thing!! We of course do have Rod and Dean Crowe so all is not lost but I guess we will miss the Dossler’s searing pace!! Good luck anyway Dossler but you should have stayed to pick up a league winners medal next May!!
