70's Music Quiz

We are looking to have a 70’s music quiz on the 4th December

Teams of up to 6 people @ £10 per team

Aimed at being a fun night with lots of prizes - questions will not be too hard honest!

We need at least 10 teams for this to go ahead so please book early so we can plan ahead.

We are running this as a joint funraiser with the Witton Albion Youth so lets all make the effort to have a great night

trying to get a team together from work. should be a good night. just my era none of this modern noise, they all sound the same (thanks for the quote dad!!) Should be a laugh  lets hope for a good turn out and raise some funds for the club.

Past my era, 50’s and 60’s is all I know.
WHS.

You were probably in Paris in the 70’s WHS ?

WHS u are becoming more annoying than me ! See u on the bus to Carlton saturday !

Afraid not Eli, prior engagement. I will donate a prize of a bottle of plonk for the worst team in the quiz, maybe two. I was NOT in Paris in the 70’s, I barely had enough money then to go to Rhyl!!
WHS.

Prior engagement, a meeting to save the Floatel? I was not in Paris in the 70s either, I was largely in Placemate7 !

As merely aying “Prior engagement” is not enough for some, I am going to see my son Andy in Lancaster.
WHS.

Please come and support to make this night a success, it costs very little to enter, it is aimed at being a bit of laugh so don’t be put off if you think your knowledge of the 70’s may be limited. Thanks to Yorkshire red for agreeing to supply the amp. It’s a good chance to get the Christmas celebrations rolling and a nice little warm up for Jim’s excellent Winter Ball.

One last reminder for tonight, these fundraisers are even more important now we are out of the trophy, please come along I promise there won’t be any hard questions!

Really enjoyed the quiz, great fun and a good night had by those that came, shame it wasn’t better supported, but maybe next time a few more may turn up for these fund raising nights. Thanks Graham

Fantastic evening especially when our team came third.
Thanks Graham for organising it.More of these please.
