It has been announced that defender Adam Anson is to join National League North Southport. The Sandgrounders have agreed to loan him back to us until the end of February as part of the deal.
That’s not great news for us ! But pleased for the lad who has played well and deserves his chance at a higher level, two of our best players lost in the last 2 weeks let’s hope we can pick up a couple of signings pdq to bridge the gap UTA
Obviously not the news we wanted to hear but, I guess the agreement to have him on loan until the end of the month softens the blow. Also allowing Carl time to hopefully bring someone in as we have until March to sign players. I haven’t had the chance to see Adam in action personally but, he has made an impression by all accounts and results have improved during his time with us which has obviously been a factor in the deal
Sorry to see Adam go, as he has been excellent for us. However i wish him well and hope he goes even higher in his career.
Due to injuries, Southport have recalled defender Adam Anson from his loan spell at Wincham Park. We would like to thank Adam for his contribution to the club and wish him well for the future.
