3 - 1 Gards 2nd penalty
3 - 1 FT ATT 152
Not a classic by any means but it beats staying in and watching Eastenders.
Well done to the groundstaff and well done to the team.
Vics next please for a good-hiding.
Decent enough game and solid performance. Thought the red was a terrible decision, it was only just a pen! The second one was blatant though
Solid debut for Big Meechers, and more importantly, the seeds of a song being sown…?
Meech for the stars…
Can’t complain about the result or performance.
Whoever the driver was in the large minibus (Fylde coach?) blocking the exit for about ten minutes on the way out is a complete head the ball. : .veryangry
Overall a good result both teams below strength, lovely to see 2 pens smashed home by gards and after being torn apart for first 25 we played ourselves into the match well and deserved the win, the refs view of the first pen was that the player lifted his arm to block a goal bound shot so yes a red card and a pen shame not many there to see a win the lads deserve more. UTA
 That’s karma for leaving early, you couldn’t wait to leave!
That driver of the Fylde minibus was, can i describe rather injudicious in his driving behaviour.
Is there any news on Danny Andrews? He limped off in the 1st half.
And yes not sure what the bus driver was upto ha ha
He said later on during the game it was just a dead leg and he will see how it is on thursday at training but he hopes he will be ok for saturday
whats happened to Crossy and Conners? Have they left the club? And is Fallon still injured not seen him in the squad for some time
Pretty sure Fallon came on against Nantwich. Or was it Ilkeston? Or did I dream it?
Think Cross is on loan at Runcorn. No idea on Connors.
Totally agree C.J I was hoping for a better gate to be honest. Maybe it’s because it’s the new year and had a few home games already. Or our fans don’t like cup games always get lower crowds unless we get a big name.
Crossy is on loan at Runcorn linnets not sure about conners or fallon.
At least crossy is getting game time then if he’s required. Would love to see Connors play this season but it seems increasingly unlikely and the Fallon one is a strange one, thought he was back fit but not heard his name mentioned, perhaps he has left? So excited for the second half of the season as there is still so much to play for, playoffs would be an incredible achievement. Back to back promotions is a genuine possibility!!! Didn’t go to the game last night but how did some of the younger ones do like Clapton and Horne? Plus a friend of mine who is a Hyde fan said that there was talk at their club that they were interested in signing one of our players but he didn’t know who it was, this news got me very worried.
Sorry that was meant to say Clayton the young full back
I heard Fallon is at knutford atm just regaining his fitness following his broken arm. Although that was a couple of weeks ago so things may have changed…
