Its the AGM tomorrow, and its a pain having to go to Mere.

BUT I think it is important that all shareholders make the effort to show our support for the job that Mark and co have done after being dropped in the mire(polite) by a number of our ex officials.

Who knows some of those people may be there - and some very interesting questions may arise about the MASSIVE overspend last season, and the subsequent convenient £18,000 LOAN that appeared on the books from the Ex Chairman after he resigned!

He preached financial prudence for so long(a bit like Mr Brown!) and then left as a legacy after ten years tenure as a good housekeeper, a massive loan outstanding to himself that the club could never afford to furnish, and shouldn’t have taken out.

I just hope people have the balls to ask pertinent questions if the opportunity arises.

Get there if you can and support the board and associate directors.

They were set up to fail and haven’t.

They deserve your effort to get there and support for that at least.

Good post CS - everybody has rallied round after the debacle in the summer and made this a better club I believe so let’s stand up and be proud of what has been achieved so far.

Being able to attend and ask such questions is a priviledge other clubs dont have.
Do not waste the opportunity to questions about what happened at our club or where we are going in the future.

Shocked to see a loan of £18,000 is on the books, how on earth can we pay that off and is there a time limit on it? I will try to come along tomorrow but I do have a lot on at the moment. May I suggest that the idea being run by another non league teanm, of selling 50p shares to pay off their debts might be a good one. How about selling raffle tickets at that price with the winner receiving half the proceeds, put me dowqn for a tenners worth if you do.
