Good game played on a very greasy surface.
Anthony Sheehan’s goal hammered in first time from a corner,was one of the most spectacular goals i have seen in a long time.Mark Buchan’s first goal was very well taken.he had a long time running through to the keeper,but went round him in classic style.
We were zipping the ball around all night long and especially at the back.Alsager kept going,trying to do things the right way and once we weathered their spell in the opening second half we looked good value for money.
Not too many of us here but still far better than Sky Sports.
MK sums it up nicely, not a great Alsager team but you can only beat what is in front of you, overall a good night with some good football by the Albs, good work out for some players in need of it.
