Glorious sunshine at the HfH

1-0 to the Albion. Josh hancock 16 mins with a superb free kick

3-0. Boothy just before the break with his first of the season and Danny Andrews just after the break

Finished 3-1 I think, I left with a minute to go. Over 300 at the ground but we need more.

Got a goal after I left, finished 4-1.

Good result today. Keeps things as they were at the top with both Fylde and Curzon winning.

Special mention to Robbo for sorting the Under 12’s. Hope they had a good day out.

Thought Durham were very poor. Long ball over the top and their number 8 wanted to kick lumps out of everyone, only for their only sub and reserve keeper to come on playing up front and literally kick a lump out of Gards. Deserved red card.

Special mention to Jay for being my Club Shop deputy at times today - and we made a killing so he can do it again!!

The Under 12s enjoyed their day, so thanks to everybody who helped to make them feel welcome. (I think they possibly saw a little bit too much of some of the players…). :woohoo:

I think Coops was superb today, and Durham possibly could have been in front in the first half without some outstanding interceptions.

I didn’t see the challenge near the end, but from the reaction on the bench it was clearly a bad one. Pleased to see the ref issue a red rather than bottling it infront of a big crowd.

Talking of the crowd, a very good turnout once again. Anything over 300 is a success, and today we were close to 350 so let’s keep it going.

Also thanks to everyone who has already bought a ticket fo rthe Player Of The Season awards. I’ll be coming round with them again on Wednesday, so get one early. The players are donating some brilliant raffle prizes, so get a ticket and hopefully you will take a decent prize home on the night.

Well done to all Wittoners today.

UTA.

I don’t go away until the 23rd Robbo so grab me on Wednesday night or Saturday and I will definitely have one.

Results like today shouldn’t be taken for granted, the work ethic of the team is fantastic, chasing back, covering for each other, pushing forward in numbers is all good to watch. I think we are setting our stall out for the playoffs and take what ever else comes along. absolutely the right attitude. Well done to all, my MOM was Big Ben for what its worth but talking to people around me we all picked someone different which speaks volumes for the team

Another 3 points and another great performance. Mom I would give josh Hancock for his 1st half performance but everyone played well.
Hats off to the team in recent weeks it has been a joy to watch.
I think the top 2 will be feeling the pressure if we keep producing scoreline like we have recently. 6-0, 6-1, 4-1. Class.

Good result yesterday apart from Durham trying to kick lumps out of our players. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. Good to see the young players play at half time although would it be possible in the future for them to play near the main stand as it would be closer viewing for the majority of the supporters? Just an observation.SBL

Good performance and 3 points. Good to see the goals getting shared around means we’re not over reliant on 1 player. Thought the ref should have clamped down on there tactics earlier. How there number 8 didn’t get booked for constant fouling first half is beyond me.

It shows how good this team is when we leave the ground after a 4-1 win disappointed that we hadn’t scored more.

Really impressed with Hancock again yesterday, his free kick was inch perfect! Titch put in a great shift but didn’t get the goal he deserved.

Great finish by Boothy, one of my favourite players at the moment.

It could have been six or seven but we can’t be greedy can we! :stuck_out_tongue:

All we can do is keep winning. If Fylde and Curzon slip up then great, if not we need to take this momentum into the play-offs. We know they are a bit of a lottery and this year may be our turn.

The groundstaff request that we use the far corner of the pitch due to better drainage on that side.

We might have a similar half time activity this Saturday, so we’ll see if we can try and get them over on the other side.

Another good win and a great way to celebrate Mike’s birthday.
Josh’s free kick was superb.
Boothy’s goal was excellent and the celebration that followed showed what this team is all about.
Durham didn’t offer much but you can only beat what’s in front of you.
Well done boys! Roll on Wednesday.

yes another good result, with all the players putting in a good shift. all that we can do now is go out there and get the result and hope that curzon and fylde slip up, if not then this squad has shown us that they have got the caracter and will to gain promotion via the play offs. so let’s not lose heart let’s just cheer the boys on to the success their play deserves. come on witton.
