I hear what you all say but what other clubs do with regard to players like Shaun is surely beside the point, this is our club we are talking about, a club with a fine reputation. Do we risk that reputation by reinstating Shaun? I simply do not know the answer, it is up to the management and the board but my personal feeling is he should be moved on to another club unless he makes a public apology in the press.

I spoke with Shaun last night at the club, hes so happy to be back with the squad and told me hes hoping to play a part in tomorrows game, the players are delighted hes back and from my point of view i would love to see him back in action for Witton.
He put on Facebook how much he loves this club and the fans and he knows he owes us big time so hes desperate to get on the pitch and score some goals.
Hes done wrong, he knows hes done wrong and hes served time in prison, lets all move on and give the lad a break.
Welcome back Shaun the team does need you, whs if you listen to the last podcast Mark explains why we will stick by shaun but he does need to issue a sincere apology and then we need to move on as a club. From what i saw shaun was confusing attacking terrorists with islamists and even stated he was not racist his views imo were ill thought out and badly expressed ( and it appears he had been drinking was angry about events and responding to wind up trolls not a good time to be on social media ) but he has been punished by the law of the land and he served his dues, everyone deserves a second chance surely- the FA should not intercede any further in this matter.

I agree with C.J. If Shaun makes a public apology I think that should be the end of it but has he made one? Why does it not surprise that jonnyamery just wants him back regardless.
