All Hands to the pump

With the poor weather in the last few days there may be some doubt over tomorrows game. It is vital that we get this game on, something this club has taken great pride in doing through the years in adverse weather, as this is our only remaining home game this month and the revenue is vital. Can i ask, if you can spare the time, tomorrow morning prior to the game to come down to the ground to assist the numerous voulunteers preparing the pitch to ensure the game goes ahead.

Just heard from Pete down the ground.

The pitch is fine.

Lights are working (several business’s around the ground(e.g. Dobsons) had been warned that there would be no electricity today)

The plumber has fixed the hot water problem. (Yesterday the pump wouldn’t work, and we had no heating or hot water).

The game is on.

BIG MASSIVE THANKS FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO ACHIEVE THIS!!!

Our back-room teams are as good as the team on the pitch and I can’t say anything better than that about them!
WHS.

Sorry, had no internet for a couple of days and had family problems so did not hear the call for help or would have helped, well done everyone for getting the game on despite the result.
