Are they having a laugh? £13 to stand up and watch Altrincham, it’s a joke right?
WHS.

Rather go to the theatre with WHS than pay those prices !

£13 for a cheshire cup game is ridiculous.

I reckon we should boycott this game !

Surely something can be done about the admission charges for this game? I seem to remember last season we managed to reduce the cost of the lostock game, maybe something similiar can be done?

Totally agree Eli - to be fair to our neighbours they are only charging £12 this weekend for the Charlton game.

I will contact MH and ask him to make representations to his former club.

At Davenham Theatre that night reviewing “The Humble Boy” for the Guardian. I will donate a tenner to the “Fighting Fund” as a penance.
WHS.

The last Cheshire Senior Cup Tie I saw at Altrincham was worth £13.00.

Mind you, it did involve Pritch and a streaker…

For a mere county cup game the ticket price should be no more than that of the lower ranked club.
For those who do go, remember to take sandwiches or eat outside the ground. The “catering caravan” food there is well overpriced.

Not paying that price to get in, taking the P***

I’ve been many a time to Alty (not allways to support the Albs!!) but they are taking the piss with the prices for this game NO WAY!! Theres no use “making representations” to the mighty robins just don’t go!! I WILL NOT SNEAK IN UNDER A PSUEDONYM!

Fully back the boycott, sure Gary and the lads will understand. Cant see many Alty fans turning out for that either.

ermm, looks like i will be their on my own.

:woohoo :woohoo: :woohoo: :

V1cs v Cheadle same competition admission a fiver!!!

Fair play to the neighbours - twice in one post!

The FA rules state that the admission must be the same as for normal league games. This is especially true when the takings are split 3 ways in the later rounds.

Last season, after being prompted by ELI, I was successful as “HOME” team secretary, in pursuading the FA and the opposition to a reduced admission fee at Wincham Park. I don’t think we will be so successful in trying to achieve this as the “AWAY” club. However, I am sure if approached by Altrincham, that we would agree to a reduction.

Still won’t be going even if they reduce prices - cheeky b******s !

I am sure if you contact our secretary. He would do his best to get the prices reduced. But it is due to a stupid Cheshire FA rule that we have to charge full price. I don’t blame anyone for not turning up on Tuesday. It should be £5 should be the fee to get in for Cheshire Senior Cup games.

I contacted Mark Harris, and Andy Chad had him on the case already.

Altrincham’s Secretary agreed that the FA rule was madness, and got in touch with them with a view to dropping this rule.

New admission prices are:
Adults £10
Concessions £5
Under 16’s £2

These prices apply to both the Stands and the Terraces.

Cheshire Senior cup who ?

Altrincham who ?
