Altrincham vs Witton Albion (CSC Semi Final).

Updates will appear here as soon as they become available.

im sat here in Bucharest laptop on awaiting first update Cmon WITTON!!!

Not been able to make the journey down tonight (although I don’t quite have as good an excuse as TWS) so look forward to updates wheels. Not expecting too much from tonight I guess a lot will depend on the team Alty put out, and Gary for that matter.

Witton team

Smith, Scott, Warner, Pritchard, Booth, King, Lugsden, Dunn, Thompson, Dunne, Olsen.

Subs: Schwarz, Wynne, Smyth, Millington.

as ive been away a few weeks, whats happene to Black and Rooney ?

millington as in former goalkeeping coach. when did he return?

I imagine that Millington was still registered with the club and with only four subs named tonight.

I have heard that Rooney had left the club but perhaps someone can comfirm that but Neil Black is cup-tied.

Dave Millington is now back as goalkeeping coach, not sure about Rooney but he wasn’t around for either the Vics friendly or the Marine game

Latest Score: ALTRINCHAM 1 WITTON ALBION 0.

must be half time now?
Any news on how we are playin? Do they have first team out?

Latest Score: ALTRINCHAM 2 WITTON ALBION 0.

No news about how we are playing I’m afraid. I’m just getting the latest scores.

I hope they get some experience from the game tonight if nothing else

Full Time Score: ALTRINCHAM 4 WITTON ALBION 0.

Two leagues above us and it showed tonight - well beaten.

Good to see Milly back again.

Yes a fair result - sadly our squad isnt that deep.
Rooney has departed and Black was cup tied.
Smyth also presumably injured having not been involved saturday and benched tonight.
Oh well always the league…

The depth of our squad was exposed tonight, but having said that, the players on the pitch gave their all. (we had several cup-tied)

The result was bad, but the performance was encouraging. The game was a lot closer than the score line suggested. We definetly missed the pace of Neil Black and Mark Smyth tonight, but James Olsen and Tony Dunne played their hearts out as replacements.

Pritch was given MOM for Witton, although mine was James Olsen.

FCUM were present tonight, which shows how important they are treating Saturday.

I am really looking forward to revenge for our earlier encounter against FCUM.

:frowning: The gate was 226 according to the Altrincham FC website.
