We have just been informed that our programme for the 2011/2012 season has been voted PROGRAMME OF THE YEAR!
The accolades for our performance in this season keep on coming in!
The man we should all congratulate is a work colleague of Brian Pritchard, and his name is Jamie Thompson. To win such an accolade in his first season as the Programme Editor is absolutely remarkable
WELL DONE JAMIE!!![/quote]
Great work Jamie nice to see your hard work being rewarded

I’ve just received the news that Albion Review won programme of the year for NPL D1N this season. It is a fantastic achievement and one we should be proud of. I know I said it at the end of the season but can I just thank you all again for your contributions as this award recognises the effort that you all put in.
We also came 48th nationally beating a lot of higher league competition. In fact only 2 Northern Premier League teams finished above us so we know what to aim for this coming season.
Thank you all again and I will get the award displayed in the club shop! See you pre season
Thanks to everyone for the kind words however it couldn’t have been achieved without the contributors so my personal thanks goes to them all.
Also if anyone wants to get involved in the now award winning Albion Review then drop me an email at Jamie.thompson4@talktalk.net
Especially keen on getting more photographs from the games.
Also if anyone has any ideas about new articles then again don’t hesitate to contact me. I will be looking at what the 47 teams who finished above us do in an effort to improve but ultimately it’s about producing a product for the fans.
Robbo and I were talking about a junior section - I have to admit I dont always buy a programme so im not sure if there already is something.
Basically, back in the early 90s all junior members had their names listed under Junior Albs. Doesnt take much work and will fill a bit of space if you need it to, though it may need to be part of a wider Junior Membership Club or something. We could maybe do a feature on a different member each edition. Have a pen pic, name, fave player etc.
