For those that don’t know, I have spent this week working out who has made the most appearance for the Supporters Team since we first played in february. To add a bit of spice to it, we ran a competition last night where everyone on the Team paid £2 to guess who;
A) Holds the record
B) How many appearances they have made
C) How many goals they scored
Half the money goes to the winning guesser, and the other half to WAFC Development Fund. So it works out at £15 each - thanks to everyone for taking part.
The results are as follows;
Scott Carter - 27 Games, 6 Goals
Mike Blundell - 25 Games, 6 Goals
Greg Marshall - 24 Games, 5 Goals
Mark Robinson - 22 Games, 2 Goals
Tom Green - 21 Games, 12 Goals
Shaun Carter - 20 Games, 4 Goals
Si Gregory - 19 Games, 1 Goal
Stu Jones - 16 Games, 1 Goal
Drew Haspell - 14 Games, 4 Goals
Andrew Chadwick - 11 Games, 7 Goals (Prolific!)
Graham Prew - 10 Games, 2 Goals
Dan Stuart - 9 Games, 2 Goals
Dave Johnson - 8 Games
Graham Crouch - 7 Games
Adam Knight - 5 Games
Scott Alder - 4 Games, 2 Goals
Mike Yoxall - 3 Games, 1 Terrible Fall
Glyn Knight - 3 Games, 1 Goal
Neil Wilson - 3 Games
Jonny Amery - 1 Game
Thomas Amies-King - 1 Game
MICHAEL MOSELEY - 1 Game, 3 Goals
Mike Nelson - 1 Game
Stuart Cadman - 1 Game
Simon ‘Rabbit’ Westland - 1 Game
It’s brilliant that TWENTY-FIVE different people have now turned out for the Supporters Team, and 15 of those have managed to get their name on the scoresheet!
The winner of the £15 for correctly guessing appearances and goals - Phil Carter! (Dan got the games right, but missed out by ONE goal!).
