Ashley Dunn

Ashley’s 3rd loan period ended on Saturday.

We have been unable to arrange a further loan period at the moment, as his club, Fleetwood Town, have quite a few injuries, and as such, want him to return.

We are watching the situation very closely, and hope to get Ashley back in the near future.

League rules state that a player can only go on loan to another club for 93 days in any one season. So far, Ashley has been on loan to us for 64 days.

I think he has been absolutely superb for us and contributed a lot to our recent revival.
Fingers crossed he can return.

Agreed, he has been an asset during his loan periods, good job we bought Lawless in when we did.

Ashley has been fantstic hope we get him back on loan again and maybe even sign him next season if he is not needed at Fleetwood

Certainly a Quality player with a great work rate, lets hope the Fleetwood Players that are injured recover quickly as Ashley has been great for us, his goal in the last few minutes of the uni cup also meant that we did not have to endure extra time and possibly penalties

It would be great if we could somehow attract him back from Codland on loan or even longer.

From what i can gather, Fleetwood rate him quite highly. Hopefully a furthe rloan period, but i can’t see anything more than that.

agree with all the comments, and wish him the very best in his career.

I believe Ashley would like to stay with us. Gary and Mark are trying their best to make that happen, but he is under contract at Fleetwood, and I know, speaking to their Chairman, they rate him a good prospect.

I will keep you updated of any progress.

Unfortunately the article below reads such that we are unlikely to get Ashley back this season, lets hope there’s still a chance.
