Thursday sees Witton Albion Development Squad travel to Ashton Athletic in the Second leg of their Lancashire League Cup Tie, with Albion currently holding a 5-3 lead from the first game. Ashton have proved formidable opponents and this tie is by no means settled. The progress the Witton Squad have made is very much in evidence due to the fact that so many have already made their way into the First Team Squad, and indeed six have already made their First Team debuts. The game kicks off at 7.45pm and will be settled on the night with extra time and penalties if necessary. Development Squad Manager John Salmon and the players would appreciate your support.
