Witton’s Youth team are in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to bottom of the table Ashton Town in a North West Youth Alliance fixture. The Wigan-based club are still looking for their first points of the season after losing seven games in a row. Witton go in to the game on the back of a very determined performance against FC United of Manchester, a game they put a great deal of effort into and were very unfortunate to be on the wrong end of the 4-3 scoreline. They can certainly take a lot from that performance as they take on a side who are struggling but who still pose a threat as they look to put points on the board. Kick off at Ashton Town Stadium is 2pm.
