Ashton Town AFC Youth vs Witton Albion Youth.

Witton’s Youth team are in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to bottom club Ashton Town in a North West Youth Alliance fixture. The season has been a difficult campaign so far for the Wigan-based club who began with a horrendous run which saw them lose all of their first seventeen league games before finally ending that run by beating AFC Darwen 1-0. Witton’s recent form hasn’t been the best either not having won since they hammered the same opponents 6-0 around a month or so ago. As the season draws to a close, Witton have the chance to finish their campaign in a positive manner and can complete the double over Ashton with victory. Kick off at The Ashton Town Stadium is 2.30pm.
