Weather-permitting Witton’s Development Squad are scheduled to travel to Ashton Town on Thursday night in a Lancashire League West fixture. Witton will be looking to finally get their first victory of the campaign against the league’s bottom club, who have yet to register their first point having lost all of their seven games so far. The fixture represents a difficult test for Witton despite their opponents lowly position, as Ashton Town will be hoping to get their season up and running in a positive way. Kick off at The Hardwick Group Stadium is 7.45pm.
