Ashton United have tonight accepted the resignation of manager Michael Clegg following the Robins 6-0 home defeat to neighbours Hyde United.
The Robins have appointed Steve Cunningham as manager as successor to Michael Clegg, who resigned on Monday night.
Cunningham was a midfielder for Colne FC & Witton in his playing days and has previous managerial experience at Colne FC, Buxton & Curzon Ashton.
