Not heard much about the game but at least it’s a point and halts the run of defeats.
A great effort by every player, 110% effort & commitment, unarguably the better side on the night but as so many times this season luck deserted us.
Another injury to a defender, efforts cleared off the line and no luck sums up a lot of Witton’s season. BUT it’s not over yet!
All the team put a shift in! Greg was faultless, just a pity we haven’t played like this all season! Credit where credit’s due, how are they staying in this league?
Only thing, why don’t we shoot more? If you don’t shoot, you don’t score!
We played very well on Tuesday night - front foot from the first whistle, this was not a hanging on in there performance and in the last minutes Will Jones has an effort hacked off the line.
The ground has a charm all of its own but must feel thankful as a season ticket holder to rock up to Wincham Park.
