Atherton Town AFC Youth vs Witton Albion Youth

Witton’s Youth team are in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to third-placed Atherton Town AFC in a North West Youth Alliance fixture. The Wigan based club are unbeaten in the league going into the game so Witton face another tough challenge as they bid to climb the table. Atherton Town are currently only two points behind the leaders so will be looking to keep pace with them whilst Witton’s objectives are to improve on their lowly position in the table. The game is being played at Howe Bridge Leisure Centre with a 2pm kick off.

Turn right onto East Lancashire Road/A580 and follow for 1.3 miles. Slight left towards A579 continue for 256 ft. Slight left onto A579 and continue for 1.4 miles. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Atherleigh Way/A579 and follow for 2.1 miles. Turn right onto Lovers Lane/B5235 and follow for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Leigh Road/B5215 proceed 249 ft. Turn left onto Eckersley Fold Lane and continue 141 ft. Slight left and proceed for 30 ft.

Parking: There are plenty of car parking spaces near to the main entrance including 5 spaces for Blue Badge Holders.

Admission Prices: Admission to watch the football is free to everyone.

Refreshments: There is a cafe in the main building with seating for between 20-30 people, serving hot & cold drinks and food.
