Witton’s U21’s Development Squad finished off their pre season with a tough test against Atherton Town U21’s at Butler Park on Wednesday night. The team has a number of new signings and played some excellent football at times during the game.
The match resulted in a 4-2 win for Albion with our goals coming through Tom Shone 2, Michael Woolley and Marcus Robinson and is the perfect confidence booster going into Sunday’s opening league fixture in the North West U21’s Development League Premier Division at home to Irlam FC at Moss Farm.
